Welcome to another May edition of the Perrigo Dental Care blog!
Are you looking for a kind, family-centered dentists’ office with a comprehensive range of services delivered in a comfortable setting? Then we have everything you need! There’s not much that we can’t get done with our tools, technology, and training!
And we’ll make it easy for you to get back on-track, even if you’ve been avoiding the dentist out of fear or anxiety. Dental anxiety is a serious condition and it can cause real trouble for you if you aren’t able to find a way to work through it.
Not dealing with your oral health needs in the short run will only make it harder on you later on. And it will probably make it more costly for you to get back on the good road. Root canals and extractions are always less desirable than fillings, to give you one example!
Keep reading to see where we are coming from, and then be sure to get in touch to schedule your next appointment with sedation dentistry.
Take The Easy Way Out
Why should you bother making appointments every 3-6 months? We can give you lots of reasons!
The thorough teeth cleanings we provide you with at Perrigo Dental Care can help you keep plaque and tartar from creating unhealthy situations in your mouth. Prevention is key! Our in-depth dental exams can shed light on any gum disease or cavities that are emerging so that these things can be tackled before they have a chance to wreak havoc on your health. And letting us screen you for oral cancer while you are here can save your life.
Aren’t these reasons enough to let us take a look around every so often? It won’t be bad at all. We are confident that our welcoming environment will win you over. Everyone is friendly, and eager to please.
You don’t have to worry about irritating lectures or painful procedures around here. We are a caring and compassionate crew. And we have sedation dentistry services on our side. As such, your experience at Perrigo Dental care will be painless and pleasant to say the least.
Sedation Dentistry Is Liberating
In our Alabama office, we can set you up with sedation whenever you need to undergo an invasive treatment or address your fear of the dentist. There are two types of sedation available to you here:
Inhalation Sedation: This type of sedation is the one most frequently used by dentists. It involves the use of nitrous oxide (aka: laughing gas) to normalize your bodily functions and relax you for your procedure. It works well and wears off fast.
Oral Sedation: Alternatively, you may opt for an orally administered form of sedation. We will give you a pill that you have to take prior to your operation. And you’ll want to line-up a ride home! The good news is that you’ll probably forget why you were ever afraid!
