Fastbraces
One of the latest and greatest programs for orthodontic treatment comes in the form of Fastbraces. The key to making the process work faster lies in the shape of the brackets. Rather than using square brackets with round wires, we use triangular brackets with square wires. You’d be surprised by the difference that makes. And the results will blow you away!
Remember: old school braces can take 2-3 long years to complete the movement of your teeth because the crown moves first, but the root takes longer to move.
But get this: Fastbraces utilize the new shape of bracket and wire giving the actual braces more leverage to move your roots and crowns at the same time! As such, treatment time can be measured in weeks rather than years!
Invisalign “Clear Braces”
Fastbraces are great, but if you’d rather not have to wear brackets and wires at all, we can set you up with Invisalign!
Invisalign uses clear plastic aligners to gently nudge your teeth into position. Here’s how it works: you will wear an aligner set for about two weeks before switching to the next set in the series to keep you teeth moving into a more perfect alignment.
Invisalign aligners are removable which means you won’t need in-office adjustments to your gear, you can continue eating whatever you want, and there won’t be any special tools needed for cleaning.
Best of all, you can enjoy your gorgeous grin in only about 12 months time!
