Hoover Dental Practice To Give Away Apple Watch

HOOVER, AL – Dr. Lucas Perrigo, a Hoover cosmetic dentist, is giving away an Apple Watch to a patient who refers a friend or family member to his practice.

Dr. Perrigo hosts quarterly giveaways to reward patients who refer new patients. Last year, Dr. Perrigo awarded hundreds of dollars in prizes, including a new Samsung TV and Big Green Egg grills.

“It’s exciting that we can provide a way to say thank you to our loyal patients,” said Dr. Perrigo, who operates Perrigo Dental Care. “We are so appreciative of the opportunity to treat the wonderful people in this community and to get them excited about their oral health.”

Each time a patient refers a friend or family member to Dr. Perrigo’s practice, their name is entered into a drawing. Dr Perrigo selects a new “VIP winner” every couple of months. He plans to name the winner of the Apple Watch at the end of this month.

“Our patients are amazed to see that we are giving away big-ticket items that maybe they would not have purchased for themselves,” Dr. Perrigo said. “We see it as another way for us to put a smile on someone’s face.”

Dr. Perrigo has owned the comprehensive dental practice Perrigo Dental Care for more than 10 years, serving the Birmingham suburban communities of Hoover, Vestavia Hills, Homewood, Helena, Pelham, Alabaster, Hewitt, Mountain Brook, Gardendale and Trussville.

Perrigo Dental Care offers preventive and family dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, sleep apnea treatment, TMJ treatment and full-mouth restoration with dental implants all under one roof. Dr. Perrigo moved to Birmingham, Ala., after earning his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Auburn University in 1994. For two years, Dr. Perrigo worked at a dental lab and as an orthodontic assistant while attending the University of Alabama at Birmingham and earning prerequisites for dental school. He graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry in 2002.

Following graduation, Dr. Perrigo worked for a cosmetic dental practice for one year and then another year at a denture and emergency dental clinic. In 2004, he purchased the location that is now Perrigo Dental Care from Dr. Donald Romano, who is still Dr. Perrigo’s associate.

Dr. Perrigo has studied at international live-training dental implant courses and completed continuing education courses in cosmetic dentistry and restorative dentistry. He holds memberships with the American Dental Association, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Alabama Dental Association, Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and Birmingham District Dental Society.

Dr. Romano completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1971 and then received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry in 1976. Dr. Romano was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Delta Kappa, a national leadership honor society, and received the Dean’s Medal while attending the University of Alabama. Before establishing his Hoover dental practice, Dr. Romano served from 1976 to 1983 as an assistant professor of dentistry at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry.
