With the Invisalign system, we can plot out your entire treatment in advance and design your aligner trays for each period of adjustment. This will happen at your initial meeting at Perrigo Dental Care.
After that, approximately every two weeks you will switch them out yourself to keep things moving along.
This is good news because now you won’t have to take time off work each month for the type of office visits that are normally required for tuning-up conventional braces.
Here’s something else to consider: regular braces would be installed and left in your mouth for 2-3 years without a break of any sort. But Invisalign aligners are designed to be removable!
This means that you can take them out whenever you need to (within reason).
As such, you won’t have to change your diet. And no food will get stuck in your gear! Plus, for cleaning you just pop them out and rinse them under warm water instead of carrying around special brushes and tools. How nice is that?
